The Angola Capital Markets Commission will begin its 2026 World Investor Week program on Oct. 5 as part of the global initiative promoted by the International Organization of Securities Commissions. Running through Oct. 11, the program will focus on financial literacy, financial inclusion and investor protection, with investor resilience as its central theme. Sessions will examine investors’ experiences and prospects in Angola’s capital market, as well as risk management, informed decision making and maintaining confidence during market volatility. The commission will also outline its role in investor protection, including its supervisory, preventive and investor support mechanisms. The program marks the 10th anniversary of World Investor Week.
