The Hong Kong Securities and Futures Commission announced that an administrator has distributed over HKD 189 million, more than 98% of the HKD 192 million court-approved compensation, to around 600 independent public shareholders of Combest Holdings Limited through a special dividend, with the distribution nearing completion. The payments are being administered by Bruno Arboit of Kroll (HK) Limited, jointly appointed by the SFC and Combest pursuant to a court order obtained by the SFC. The compensation follows SFC court proceedings under sections 212 and 214 of the Securities and Futures Ordinance against Mr Ng Kwok Fai, Mr Liu Tin Lap and Mr Lee Man To, and a subsequent court decision requiring them to pay HKD 192 million to shareholders. Shareholders entitled to the special dividend who have not received it must submit claims to the administrator by 10 October 2025. The distribution is scheduled to complete on 23 October 2025, after which any uncollected amounts, net of costs, expenses and disbursements, will be returned to Combest.
