The Central Bank of the Republic of Türkiye has put new versions of E9 series TRY 50 and TRY 5 banknotes into circulation, updating the signatures to include Governor Fatih Karahan and Deputy Governors Gazi İshak Kara and Fatma Özkul, respectively. The banknotes are otherwise identical to the previous versions in dimensions, design, general features and appearance. Both versions will circulate concurrently.
