The Thailand Office of Insurance Commission (OIC) rolled out follow-on education and career guidance activities under its Insurefluencer The New Gen 2025 programme, awarding a special “Insurance Teacher” initiative to three national prize-winning schools. The outreach combined insurance literacy with preparation support for Thailand’s university admissions exams (TCAS) and career pathway guidance, reaching more than 1,200 students across the three institutions. The Insurefluencer The New Gen 2025 competition attracted entries from more than 210 schools and included a Boot Camp to build insurance knowledge and communication skills. The three awarded institutions were Wachiraprakarn Wittayakom School (Kamphaeng Phet) as national champion, Wangwiset School (Trang) as first runner-up, and Surin Vocational Education College (Surin) as second runner-up. Activities were delivered in three parts: intensive TCAS-focused teaching in core subjects (mathematics and English) delivered by OIC speakers and experts from Thai insurance associations; “Insurance for TCAS” practical training to prepare for TGAT with specialist tutors focused on guidance and analytical thinking; and on-site booths from insurance associations and several insurers to promote insurance knowledge and provide career guidance, including for vocational students.
