The Central Bank of Aruba published its July 2026 statistical tables, showing broad money decreased by AWG 201.9 million during the month to AWG 7.52 billion. The decline reflected a AWG 224.7 million fall in net foreign assets to AWG 4.39 billion, while net domestic money creation added AWG 22.8 million. Claims on the private sector rose by AWG 56.6 million to AWG 4.99 billion. Commercial banks’ capital-to-risk-weighted-assets ratio increased to 28.1% from 27.8% in June, while the loan-to-deposit ratio rose to 64.4% and the liquidity ratio fell to 32.3%. Stay-over visitor numbers increased 13.4% from a year earlier in July, with cumulative growth for the first seven months at 11.3%. Consumer prices fell 0.4% month over month but were 2.2% higher than a year earlier.
