The Czech National Bank has published updated monthly average reserve money data showing the monetary base increased to CZK 1,015.3 billion in April 2026 from CZK 1,006.8 billion in March. On the use side, currency in circulation rose to CZK 740.3 billion from CZK 736.2 billion, while reserves increased to CZK 275.1 billion from CZK 270.5 billion. On the sources side, autonomous factors increased to CZK 3,810.2 billion from CZK 3,801.2 billion, while monetary policy factors were negative CZK 2,794.9 billion compared with negative CZK 2,794.4 billion in March. Sterilisation remained the main monetary policy factor at negative CZK 2,790.8 billion, and the stand-by facility was negative CZK 4.1 billion. Within reserves, required reserves rose to CZK 271.7 billion and excess reserves were CZK 3.3 billion.
