The European Financial Reporting Advisory Group (EFRAG) has confirmed the composition of its Sustainability Reporting Board (EFRAG SRB), effective from 1 March 2025, with the membership remaining largely unchanged. Most members have been reappointed, with the main change affecting representation of the user sector, where Susana Peñarrubia succeeds Alexander Bassen following the conclusion of his mandate earlier this year due to other responsibilities. EFRAG reiterated that the SRB’s multi-stakeholder set-up underpins its work and noted the SRB’s mandate from the European Commission on the simplification of the European Sustainability Reporting Standards (ESRS).
