Oil exports grew 27.3% to USD 5.724 billion, and non-oil exports rose 4.4% to USD 17.565 billion. Shrimp remained Ecuador’s largest export at USD 5.766 billion, up 17.6%, while mining exports increased 43.5% and cocoa and processed cocoa exports fell 54.6%. In July alone, the trade surplus reached USD 504.4 million, compared with USD 194.5 million in June and a USD 257 million deficit in July 2025, as exports recorded strong monthly and annual growth.
