The Ukraine National Commission on Securities and Stock Market announced deeper cooperation with France’s Autorité des marchés financiers following a meeting with AMF leadership during a working visit. The discussions focused on capital markets regulation and supervision, with priorities including closer alignment of regulatory approaches, exchange of practical experience, and the development of modern supervisory tools, including SupTech solutions. The talks also covered financial literacy, investor protection, market integrity, and action against insider trading and money laundering. Further cooperation is set to continue through International Organization of Securities Commissions initiatives, in the context of the Commission’s intention to join the IOSCO Multilateral Memorandum of Understanding. AMF representatives referred to recent criminal decisions in a case involving an insider trading network as an example of the importance of effective enforcement and international coordination, and both sides also highlighted the role of the Legal High Committee for Financial Markets in developing the legal environment for financial markets.
