The Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) announced two senior leadership appointments aimed at strengthening engagement with regulators, policymakers, industry stakeholders and the media. Chris Rosello has joined as Senior Vice President, Global Government Affairs, and Chris Spina has joined as Senior Vice President, Corporate Communications. Rosello, based in Washington, D.C., consolidates the Office of Government Affairs and the Office of International Affairs under unified leadership and will oversee strategic engagement with federal, state and international regulators, Congress and other stakeholders on legislative and regulatory issues affecting the securities industry. Spina, also based in Washington, D.C., will lead FINRA’s strategic communications, media relations and public engagement efforts. Both report to Marcia Asquith, Executive Vice President, Board and External Relations at FINRA. Rosello joined FINRA on April 6; Spina joined on April 20.
