The National Bank of Moldova launched its first mentorship program, “Future in Public Finance and Banking,” for students and young people over age 16 interested in economics, public finance, banking, investment or public administration. The eight-week program, which begins in autumn 2026, will select about 20 participants through written applications and interviews. Participants will work with women in leadership roles across the public and private financial sectors. The program will set individual career objectives and include workplace visits, discussions on professional decisions and skills such as communication and negotiation, and a final review covering potential study, training and internship opportunities.
