The Taiwan Financial Services Commission published sales statistics for foreign-currency denominated products in Taiwan’s life insurance industry as of the end of February 2026, showing a sharp increase in new-policy premium revenues. New foreign-currency denominated policy premiums totalled around NT$103.754 billion, up 54% year-on-year from NT$67.354 billion. Investment-linked insurance products contributed NT$15.778 billion, around 15% of the total, up 67% from NT$9.42 billion, while traditional insurance products accounted for NT$87.976 billion, around 85% of the total, up 52% from NT$57.934 billion.
