The National Bank of Serbia announced that the Republic of Serbia’s delegation will participate in the International Monetary Fund and World Bank Group Spring Meetings in Washington, DC from 13 to 18 April, including sessions of the International Monetary and Financial Committee and the Joint Committee on Development. The meetings will focus on global economic stabilisation amid heightened geopolitical and trade tensions, debt sustainability, the global economic outlook and risks, and macroeconomic and financial stability in a challenging global environment. During the Spring Meetings, the delegation plans bilateral discussions with IMF and World Bank Group management on current cooperation programmes and support for preserving Serbia’s macroeconomic and financial stability. Meetings with leading financial institutions, investors and other partners are also planned to present Serbia’s results, economic potential and investment opportunities, alongside participation in a meeting of the Switzerland constituency and a closed IMF Europe Division meeting with governors and finance ministers from Central, Eastern and Southeastern Europe on Europe’s economic outlook.

The National Bank of Serbia announced that a Serbian delegation will attend the IMF and World Bank Spring Meetings in Washington, DC, focusing on global economic stabilisation, debt sustainability, the economic outlook and macro-financial stability. The delegation will hold bilateral talks with IMF and World Bank management on cooperation and support for Serbia’s macroeconomic and financial stability, meet financial institutions and investors to present Serbia’s economic potential, and participate in regional and constituency meetings on Europe’s economic outlook.
