The Angola Insurance Authority has changed the composition of the liquidation commission for Global Seguros, S.A. and appointed Francisco Manuel dos Santos as coordinator of the body overseeing the insurer's liquidation. The move replaces Henda Mondlane Ferreira da Silva as member and coordinator of the commission. The change was made by decision of ARSEG's board under the provisions of Angola's General Regime of Financial Institutions Law cited in the notice. ARSEG said the measure is intended to ensure continuity and the regular conduct of the liquidation process for Global Seguros within the applicable legal framework and its supervisory mandate over the insurance sector.
