The Central Bank of the Bahamas has released its May 2025 Quarterly Statistical Digest, making available updated quarterly tables on monetary, financial, public debt and economic statistics, generally through March 2025 where available. The digest consolidates a wide set of series, including the central bank’s balance sheet and currency in circulation, banking-system assets and liabilities (including domestic and international banks), money and credit aggregates, interest rates, bank liquidity and credit quality indicators, and foreign exchange and payments-system activity. It also includes public finance and debt statistics, balance of payments and trade tables, and selected indicators such as inflation, tourism and construction, alongside an appendix with further public-sector debt detail including foreign currency debt by holder, maturity and currency profiles, and projected debt service payments for April–December 2025 and calendar years 2026–2035. The Statistical Digest is produced quarterly by the Research Department for release in February, May, August and November.
