The Bank of the Lao PDR published an update on Governor Bounkham Vorachit receiving a delegation from the Export-Import Bank of Thailand (EXIM Thailand) to exchange views on economic, trade and investment developments and discuss potential cooperation to support Lao and Thai businesses operating in Lao PDR. The visiting delegation, led by EXIM Thailand Deputy Managing Director Warangkana Vongkhaluang and including staff from EXIM Thailand’s Vientiane representative office, also discussed a cooperation approach centred on providing Lao kip (LAK) credit through Lao commercial banks with collateral, aimed at promoting the use of LAK in investment in line with Lao PDR regulations.
