The Securities & Exchange Commission of Zimbabwe announced senior leadership changes, appointing Independent Non-Executive Director William Biggie Manhimanzi as Vice Chairman and Acting Chairman of its Board effective June 9, 2025, and confirming that Chief Executive Officer Anymore Taruvinga will resign effective 31 October 2025. Grace Berejena was appointed Acting Chief Executive Officer from November 1, 2025 until further notice. Manhimanzi brings more than 33 years of financial sector experience, including 30 years at the Reserve Bank of Zimbabwe and three years in commercial banking. Berejena previously served as Director of Policy and Market Development and chairs the Capital Markets Sub-Committee of SADC CISNA; she has over 25 years of capital markets experience, including 15 years with the Commission. Taruvinga served as CEO for three years and also held a Non-Executive Director role at the Investor Protection Board, where he chaired the Finance Committee.

The Securities & Exchange Commission of Zimbabwe announced leadership changes, appointing William Biggie Manhimanzi as Vice Chairman and Acting Chairman of the Board, and Grace Berejena as Acting Chief Executive Officer from November 1, 2025. Anymore Taruvinga will resign as CEO effective October 31, 2025. Manhimanzi and Berejena bring extensive experience from the Reserve Bank of Zimbabwe and the Commission, respectively.
