The Angola Capital Markets Commission and the Institute of Gaming Supervision signed a cooperation protocol to strengthen institutional coordination in their regulatory, supervisory and inspection mandates. The protocol provides a formal basis for joint work on anti-money laundering and counter-terrorist financing, sharing technical and statistical information, staff training and technical capacity building, and coordinated supervision of operators active in sectors overseen by both authorities. In the signing ceremony, CMC board chairman Elmer Serrão linked the cooperation agenda to supervisory challenges arising from digitalisation and online gaming.
