The Central Bank of the Republic of Uzbekistan has approved a new organisational structure and a 2026–2027 roadmap for the Joint-Stock Company Central Securities Depository as part of a formal transformation of its activities. The roadmap focuses on accelerating digital transformation, aligning service quality for foreign and domestic investors with international standards, and improving the provision of post-trading services in the securities market. To support delivery, the company has established a transformation Project Office and introduced the role of First Deputy Chief Executive Officer for this area, appointing Valiyev Sanjar Shavkatovich, previously Director of the Central Bank’s International Reserves Management Department.
