The Angola Capital Markets Commission (CMC) has started a series of technical workshops with Angola’s Attorney General’s Office (PGR) to reinforce institutional cooperation and improve coordination between market supervision and judicial authorities in preventing and combating financial misconduct. The first session, held on 24 October 2025, featured presentations from CMC officials covering an overview of the capital markets, disclosure obligations, and financial sector crimes and infringement proceedings. The opening remarks highlighted the need for technical knowledge-sharing and operational dialogue to support enforcement. A second workshop is scheduled for 31 October 2025 at the CMC, where PGR representatives will deliver a session for CMC staff as part of the ongoing cooperation programme.
