The National Bank of Serbia announced that electronic money institution TRANSAKS d.o.o. Beograd joined the IPS NBS instant payment system on 17 December 2025, enabling its clients to execute transactions through the system as an indirect participant with indirect access. Instant payments for TRANSAKS clients will be executed through OTP banka Srbija Joint Stock Company Novi Sad as a direct participant in IPS NBS. The IPS NBS system operates 24/7/365 and credits the payee within a few seconds, including for payments made on weekends and non-working days.
