The Central Bank of Russia will issue a RUB 3 silver commemorative coin on Oct. 7, 2026, honoring the Holy Transfiguration Mirozhsky Monastery in Pskov. Part of the Architectural Monuments of Russia series, the proof quality coin will have a mintage of 3,000. The coin contains 31.1 grams of fine silver, has a fineness of 925 parts per 1,000 and measures 39 millimeters in diameter. Its reverse depicts the monastery, whose Transfiguration Cathedral contains 12th century frescoes. The coin will be legal tender in Russia and must be accepted without restriction at face value.
