The Rwanda Capital Markets Authority held a meet-and-greet session to formally welcome its newly appointed Board of Directors and to mark the departure of outgoing Chief Executive Officer Thapelo Tsheole. Board Chairperson Marc Holtzman highlighted the role of Rwanda’s capital market in mobilising domestic and international resources to finance national priorities and indicated a focus on strengthening regulation and deepening market participation across sectors. The Minister of State for Resource Mobilisation and Public Investment at the Ministry of Finance and Economic Planning, Mutesi Rusagara, welcomed the incoming Board and signalled the Ministry’s support for advancing the Authority’s mandate, while the Board expressed appreciation for Tsheole’s contribution during his tenure.
