The National Bank of Ukraine has launched its 2026 university challenge, inviting student teams to assess Ukraine’s economic conditions and recommend decisions on interest rates, the official hryvnia exchange rate and foreign exchange restrictions. Teams must comprise three to five students from the same faculty at a Ukrainian higher education institution and have one faculty adviser. Registration closes on Sept. 28, followed by an information session and expert lectures on Sept. 30. Projects are due Oct. 28, finalists will be announced Nov. 9 and the final will take place Nov. 26. Finalists will receive prizes and invitations to intern at the central bank, while the winning team will receive the Governor’s Cup.
