The European Banking Federation has published a vacancy for a full-time Policy Adviser in Public Affairs to support and coordinate the organisation’s advocacy agenda, with a particular focus on engagement with the European Parliament and the European Council. The role includes drafting and coordinating the EBF advocacy strategy under the supervision of the Head of Communications and Public Affairs, managing the Public Affairs Group and Network, building relationships with EU institutions and other stakeholders including European Supervisory Authorities and international standard setters, and organising outreach events and high-level meetings on key regulatory files. The EBF is seeking candidates with at least three years’ EU public affairs experience, strong knowledge of the EU decision-making process, and excellent English writing and influencing skills. Applications are due by 15 February 2026, with an intended start date of March 2026.
