The National Bank of the Kyrgyz Republic announced that Apple Pay is now available in Kyrgyzstan, enabling bank payment card holders to make contactless payments with Apple devices and purchases through mobile applications and online. The service can also be used to pay for goods and services abroad. Apple Pay replaces card details with a unique digital token and authenticates transactions through Face ID or Touch ID. Its introduction expands digital payment options for consumers and businesses, including e-commerce, and gives the financial sector another channel for providing digital services.
