The Financial Services Regulatory Authority of Ontario has initiated enforcement action against Mckasey Samuel Cadore and proposed refusing to renew his life insurance and accident and sickness agent licence. The regulator alleges that Cadore is unsuitable to conduct insurance agency business because he demonstrated incompetence or untrustworthiness and made a material misstatement or omission in his licence application. The allegations include knowingly submitting false claims to Sun Life for services he did not receive and accepting reimbursement that he failed to repay despite agreeing to do so. Cadore has requested a hearing before the Financial Services Tribunal on the proposal.
