The Central Reserve Bank of El Salvador held Global Money Week 2025 financial education activities in the department of San Miguel, including an afternoon session with students from the University of Oriente focused on saving, budgeting and personal finance through interactive games. The programme also showcased “My Financial Journey”, a regional initiative under which the central bank visits all departments to deliver financial education in a dynamic, interactive format. As part of the wider Global Money Week rollout, additional talks were delivered in the departments of San Vicente and Chalatenango at the Dr. Victoriano Rodriguez Educational Complex, the Professor Santiago Echegoyén National Institute, the Arracaos National Institute, and the La Nueva Concepción National Institute. Across the week, the central bank expects the programme to reach around 1,900 upper-secondary students.
