Thailand’s Office of Insurance Commission announced an on-site campaign at Bangkok Bus Terminal (Chatuchak), known as Mochit 2, to promote public access to insurance ahead of Songkran travel, positioning microinsurance as a risk-management tool in line with the Prime Minister and Interior Minister’s policy direction. The Office’s Secretary-General instructed OIC teams and participating insurers to provide information and facilitate purchases at the terminal, alongside public-facing activities. Products offered include an accident policy covering death, loss of organs or disability from accidents up to THB 100,000 and a home fire policy covering homes and property for risks including fire, lightning, explosion, natural disasters and theft (subject to terms) up to THB 30,000. On-site sales and advisory support are scheduled for 11–16 April 2026 at Gate 2 of the terminal.
