The Bank of Botswana has appointed Maze Meadows Consulting to conduct a public perception survey from 15 July 2026 to 15 August 2026. The exercise will gather views from the public and key stakeholders on their awareness, perceptions, trust and understanding of the central bank’s mandate, services and communications. Participation is voluntary, and selected respondents may be approached through face-to-face interviews, telephone calls or online questionnaires. The survey is designed to collect anonymous responses, with no names or other direct identifiers required, while only limited demographic information will be collected for statistical analysis. Any contact information used to invite participation will have been lawfully obtained, kept separate from anonymous responses and used only to administer the survey, with results to be analysed and reported in aggregated form.
