Hong Kong's Financial Services and the Treasury Bureau announced that the Financial Secretary, acting under authority delegated by the Chief Executive under the Securities and Futures Ordinance, has reappointed Lisa Chen Ping as Executive Director Legal Services of the Securities and Futures Commission and appointed Elisa Ng Ka-li as Executive Director Investment Products. The two appointments run for three years, starting on 22 May 2026 for Chen and 8 June 2026 for Ng. Chen has served as the Securities and Futures Commission's Executive Director Legal Services since 2023 and is responsible for managing the Legal Services Division. Ng comes from senior executive roles in asset management and the funds business and was selected through an open recruitment exercise led by a selection panel chaired by the Securities and Futures Commission Chairman.
