The Central Bank of the Philippines (BSP) recognised 16 institutional partners of its regional office and branches in North Luzon at the 2025 Outstanding BSP Stakeholders Appreciation Ceremony held in Calasiao, Pangasinan on 07 October 2025. The ceremony, led by Monetary Board Member Walter C. Wassmer and Deputy Governor Bernadette Romulo-Puyat, forms part of the BSP’s programme to acknowledge partners supporting its mandates on price stability, financial stability, and safe and efficient payments and settlements. This year’s North Luzon awardees were cited for advancing BSP initiatives in financial inclusion and education, currency management, and digital payments, including China Banking Corporation’s Baguio-La Trinidad Cash Center, five Land Bank of the Philippines branches, Metropolitan Bank & Trust Co.’s Dagupan Branch, Rang-ay Bank, Inc., the Cooperative Development Authority Region III, the Department of Information and Communications Technology Region II, multiple Department of Trade and Industry offices, bankers associations in Ilocos Norte and La Union, and the University of Saint Louis–Tuguegarao. The City Government of Cabanatuan and the Provincial Government of Pangasinan were also recognised, having been named outstanding partners of the BSP Head Office in July 2025, and the North Luzon event was the fifth OBSAC ceremony held in 2025 after those for the Head Office, South Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao.
