The Montenegro Capital Market Authority has opened a public consultation on draft amendments to the rulebook governing applications to acquire or increase a qualifying holding, and the criteria used to assess such holdings, in management companies of open-ended investment funds with a public offering. The draft updates the required content of the approval request for obtaining or increasing a qualifying holding and refines the detailed assessment criteria applied by the Authority when reviewing qualifying holdings. The consultation is issued under Articles 27(7) and 36(2) of the Law on Open-Ended Investment Funds with Public Offering (Official Gazette of Montenegro No. 023/25), with interested parties invited to submit comments, proposals and suggestions as part of the public debate.
