Ukraine National Commission on Securities and Stock Market published an update on a meeting between its chair and an International Monetary Fund delegation to take stock of implementation of the Memorandum with the IMF (MEFP) in the context of the eighth review of the Extended Fund Facility (EFF). Topics included independent verification that certain Commission employees comply with legal requirements, capital flow management measures, and priorities for financial market infrastructure. The parties also reviewed operational changes since the last IMF technical mission and reforms implemented following adoption of the IOSCO law in 2024, and discussed the indicative timetable for developing laws on securitization and secured bonds. The IMF mission’s work on the eighth EFF review started on 20 May 2025.
