The Central Bank of Latvia has issued an authorisation to CSP Growth Solutions SIA to operate as a crowdfunding service provider, enabling it to run an online platform that connects investors with businesses seeking funding in line with Regulation (EU) 2020/1503. CSP Growth Solutions SIA has been entered in the national register of authorised crowdfunding service providers with permission to facilitate the granting of loans and to provide ancillary crowdfunding-related services, including individual portfolio management of loans, operation of a bulletin board, use of a credit scoring feature for crowdfunding projects, and proposing the price and/or interest rate of crowdfunding offers. The Central Bank of Latvia maintains the national register on its website, while the European Securities and Markets Authority publishes the EU-wide register of crowdfunding service providers. Businesses seeking authorisation to provide crowdfunding services in Latvia are directed to apply to the Central Bank of Latvia, which also provides a licensing guide and offers free advisory support before and throughout the authorisation process.
