The Taiwan Financial Services Commission published its foreign portfolio investment update, reporting combined net sales of TWD 1.4885 trillion in Taiwan Stock Exchange and Taipei Exchange listed shares by foreign and mainland area investors as of July 31, 2026. Foreign investors recorded net sales of TWD 1.49174 trillion, partly offset by net purchases of TWD 3.24 billion by mainland area investors. In July, offshore foreign investors recorded net outward remittances of USD 2.957 billion, while mainland area investors made net inward remittances of USD 31 million. This resulted in combined net outward remittances of USD 2.926 billion for the month, with cumulative net inward remittances standing at USD 394.018 billion as of July 31.
