The Guernsey Financial Services Commission reported that four graduate analysts delivered a financial literacy session for Blanchelande College sixth form students as part of the OECD-led Global Money Week (17–23 March 2025). The talk covered key financial terms, budgeting, debt awareness, savings and investments, and financial scams, including the rise of financial influencers. Assistant Director Kathryn Bowley linked basic understanding of debit, credit, savings and available products to better financial planning, and the Commission indicated it would welcome opportunities to speak to students at other senior schools across the Bailiwick. The Commission also highlighted its Graduate Development Programme, a two-year full-time salaried scheme designed to lead to a permanent analyst role on completion.
