The Central Bank of Chile announced that its President, Rosanna Costa, will travel to London to participate in Chile Day on 15 and 16 September, including a plenary presentation focused on Chile’s economic outlook and its implications for monetary policy. Costa is scheduled to deliver the traditional plenary presentation at the Gladstone Library on 16 September, covering the evolution of the economy, prospects and monetary policy implications, as well as progress and challenges in the payments system for national and international authorities. Her agenda also includes official meetings with public- and private-sector representatives, including investor meetings, and a bilateral meeting with Bank of England Governor Andrew Bailey to discuss global macroeconomic and financial projections in the context of geopolitical tensions.
