Central Bank of Brunei Darussalam updated the BDCB Alert List, adding multiple companies, individuals and online profiles that may be, or may have been, wrongly perceived as being licensed, authorised or regulated by BDCB. It noted that the list reflects information available at the time of publication and is without prejudice to any further assessment of the parties’ activities. New additions include Best Brunei Energy Service & Trading (including names such as BEST Trading, Asia Pacific Operations, City Index Stock Market Expert and BEST Investment Brunei), Cryptolux_Investment, Investment Trade Master Partners, Hj Ismail Abdullah Investment (BTC), Apex Capital Exchange (7424957) and Personal BDCB Online Loan (7286481), as well as central.loan.online (IG profile), trusted loan Brunei BN, personal.loan.online (7270357), E-Loan Syariah Online, Pinjaman Online Loan, Loan Temburong Brunei (7369398), Personal Loan Money Brunei, Fast Easy Loan Money Brunei (FB profile), Syarikat Perusahaan Dcloud (8945839), Rozimah Loan Trusted Brunei (FB profile), Loan Trusted Brunei, Hazwani Emran (FB profile) (7345424), Easy loan syariah BDCB online (FB profile), BoomEnterprise (FB profile), KMS Settle Loan (TikTok account) (8871720), Nuur.Fatimah (TikTok account) (7401384) and KayaBrunei.Link. BDCB reiterated that consumers should only deal with financial institutions it licenses, warned against unlicensed money changing, remittance and lending activities (including get-rich-quick or pyramid scheme characteristics), and noted that those dealing with unlicensed or unregulated parties are not protected under BDCB’s regulatory framework.
