Federal Reserve Bank of Atlanta appoints two directors and reappoints one to the Birmingham Branch board through 2027

The Federal Reserve Bank of Atlanta announced the appointment of Larry E. Lewis Jr. and Michael D. Ross to the Birmingham Branch board of directors and the reappointment of Michelle Lewis. Each will serve a three-year term ending December 31, 2027. Lewis, president of PROJECTXYZ Inc., was appointed by the Board of Governors, while Ross, president and chief executive officer of CB&S Bank, and Michelle Lewis, chief financial officer of AAA Cooper Transportation, were appointed by the Atlanta head office board. The remaining Birmingham Branch directors are Randall P. Breaux (chair, term expiring December 31, 2025), Samuel Addy (term expiring December 31, 2026), and Hafiz Chandiwala (term expiring December 31, 2026). Branch directors provide economic information from their industries and the branch territory to support monetary policy discussions and discount rate recommendations; the Board of Governors appoints three Birmingham Branch directors and the Atlanta head office directors appoint four.
