Hong Kong's Financial Services and the Treasury Bureau announced that the Financial Secretary, under authority delegated by the Chief Executive pursuant to the Securities and Futures Ordinance, has reappointed Ms Christina Choi Fung-yee, Mr Rico Leung Chung-yin and Mr Michael Duignan as Executive Directors of the Securities and Futures Commission for three-year terms starting on 1 August 2025, 28 August 2025 and 1 November 2025, respectively. Under the new arrangements, Ms Choi will remain Executive Director (Investment Products) until 31 October 2025 and then assume the role of Executive Director (Corporate Finance) from 1 November 2025. Mr Leung will continue as Executive Director (Supervision of Markets) with responsibility for Supervision of Markets, while Mr Duignan will move from Executive Director (Corporate Finance) to Executive Director (Enforcement) in the new term.
