The Australian Prudential Regulation Authority (APRA) announced that Carmen Beverley-Smith has resigned as Executive Director for Life Insurance, Private Health Insurance and Superannuation (LPHIS) to take up a senior role at a regulated entity, leaving APRA with immediate effect. LPHIS General Manager Peter Kohlhagen will serve as Acting LPHIS Executive Director on an interim basis while APRA moves to fill the Executive Director position permanently.
