The Federal Reserve Bank of New York announced the appointment of three new members to its Second District Advisory Council, which provides the New York Fed president and leadership with insights on business and economic conditions in the Second District. The appointees are Daniel Cunha, chief financial officer of Avis Budget Group, Inc.; Mario Harik, chairman and CEO of XPO; and Diego Suárez, Jr., chairman of the board and CEO of V. Suárez & Co., Inc. Council members serve three-year terms. The next meeting of the Second District Advisory Council is scheduled for February 23, 2026.
