HSBC Life confirmed it has no connection with the fraudulent pages, and the case has been reported to the Hong Kong Police Force for investigation. The alert identifies four links, comprising three Facebook URLs and a page hosted on medihealtho.com. The Insurance Authority advised anyone who has provided personal information or conducted transactions through the fraudulent pages to contact BOC Life’s customer service hotline and report the case to the Hong Kong Police Force, and directed the public to its Register of Authorized Insurers to verify legitimate insurers.
