The Central Bank of Bosnia and Herzegovina and the Agency for Statistics of Bosnia and Herzegovina signed a Memorandum of Cooperation on government finance statistics, aimed at improving the quality, reliability and international comparability of fiscal data and supporting alignment of Bosnia and Herzegovina’s statistical system with European Union standards. Under the memorandum, the two institutions will contribute within their respective mandates to developing and improving Government Finance Statistics (GFS) and statistics for the Excessive Deficit Procedure (EDP), applying European Union methodology and the principles of the European Statistics Code of Practice. The arrangement is positioned as part of Bosnia and Herzegovina’s economic dialogue and cooperation with the European Commission and Eurostat.
