Both measures reached their highest levels in a decade, with revenue rising 32.27% year over year and pretax profit increasing 96.29%. The results cover 960 Taiwan Stock Exchange-listed companies and 853 Taipei Exchange-listed companies. Profit growth in both markets was concentrated in semiconductors, electronic parts and components, and computer peripheral equipment. Of the 1,814 companies required to file second-quarter reports by August 14, all had complied except Giantplus Technology Co. Ltd.; finance and insurance companies have a separate August 31 deadline.
