The Banking Agency of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina reported on a visit by United Kingdom Ambassador Julian Reilly and a meeting with the agency’s director, Jasmin Mahmuzić, focused on the state of the banking sector and opportunities to strengthen cooperation. The director briefed the Ambassador on the agency’s institutional framework, organisation, and key achievements in banking regulation and supervision. Discussions also covered the current condition of the banking system and ongoing activities aimed at further strengthening and maintaining stability, including challenges facing domestic institutions and businesses in the context of current political circumstances. The agency noted that the banking system is stable and resilient, and the parties highlighted readiness to deepen cooperation to support economic development, financial market development, and domestic institutions.
