The Oman Financial Services Authority has published an update on a series of interactive awareness workshops on insurance and investment delivered with the Ministry of Education’s Khazna initiative for Cycle 2 basic education students. Held on 21 and 22 April at the authority’s premises under the theme Smart Investment Decisions City, the programme focused on introducing age-appropriate financial literacy concepts and strengthening students’ understanding of saving, investment, risk management and informed decision-making. The workshops combined specialist-led competitions with practical activities, including simulation exercises, group work and interactive stations designed to link financial concepts to real-life situations. The initiative forms part of the authority’s broader financial awareness efforts across different segments of society.
