The Federal Reserve Bank of Dallas has appointed Benjamin Klein as vice president and deputy general counsel, effective Aug. 31. He will provide legal and ethics guidance, oversee legal services and advise bank leadership on regulatory and policy matters. Klein previously led the Bank Activities Unit in the Federal Deposit Insurance Corp.’s legal division, advising regional offices and the agency’s board on core bank regulatory issues. He also worked on operational resilience, third-party risk management and financial-sector cloud adoption during a temporary assignment at the U.S. Department of the Treasury’s Office of International Affairs.
