The School of International Financial Services announced that Sade Jemmott, general counsel at the Barbados Financial Services Commission, achieved a 99% distinction in the International Certificate in Financial Services Regulation. The result is the highest mark recorded in the examination’s history. The qualification, accredited by CGI UK & Ireland, covers core regulatory principles and frameworks, including risk based supervision, regulatory judgment, intervention and enforcement. The commission said Jemmott’s expertise supports colleagues in its Supervision and Regulation Department and its wider work.
